Rules and regulations

  • Eligibility: The competitions are open to graduate and postgraduate students from all fields of study.
  • Team Composition: Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 3 members.
  • Registration: Participants must register for the competition by the specified deadline.
  • Submission Guidelines: All submissions must be original work created by the participants or teams. Plagiarism or unauthorised use of others’ work will result in disqualification. Submissions must adhere to the specified format and include all required deliverables outlined in the competition guidelines.
  • Deadline: All submissions must be completed and submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions will only be accepted if explicitly permitted by the organisers under exceptional circumstances.
  • Code of Conduct: Participants must behave professionally and respectfully throughout the competition. Any misconduct, including harassment or cheating, will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Timeline: The competition will span across 2 weeks from the date of announcement of the final list of participants. Each participant will be working on the respective deliverables and only the participants whose projects are found suitable by the organisers will be invited for the final round at the Srishti Innovation Exchange event.
  • Judging Process: Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges appointed by the organisers. The judging criteria and process will be transparent and communicated to all participants in advance. Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
  • Intellectual Property: Participants retain ownership of their rights to their submissions. However, by entering the competition, participants grant the organisers permission to use their submissions for promotional and educational purposes.
  • Confidentiality: Participants must respect the confidentiality of any proprietary information shared by the organisers or fellow participants during the competition. Unauthorised sharing or distribution of confidential information is prohibited.
  • Disqualification: The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team found to violate the competition rules or engage in unethical behaviour. Disqualified participants forfeit any prizes or benefits associated with the competition.
  • Amendments: The organisers reserve the right to change the competition rules, guidelines, or schedule if necessary. Any amendments will be communicated promptly to all participants.
  • Queries: Participants may direct any questions or clarifications regarding the competition rules or guidelines to the designated contact person or email provided by the organisers.

All sketches and designs have to be digital and a 3D design of the model is mandatory. Bonus points for physical prototype.
